Having worked extensively on the Y.CO yacht management system we were then asked to create a completely new version of the platform for Sealogical. This version of the platform would involve a complete re-skin, requiring re-engineering and tweaks to many areas of the system to handle the different user flows in the new version. With upwards of 200 different functional pages in the platform this was a significant task. Overall it was a great project, delivered successfully with a minimum of issues. The web application caters for all standard yacht management requirements including managing vessel movements, crew profiles, salaries and other financial elements, charters and more.
One of the largest additions to the platform when creating the Sealogical version was the membership system as it operates as a fully self servicing SaaS system, so we had to handle additional membership levels and complete subscription and payment management.
Impact
- Delivered successfully with a minimum of issues
- Comprehensive subscription management added
- Client extremely happy and asking for more features to be programmed
- Complex issues solved in both UX and programming stages
Safety management system
Giving the captains, crew and owners the tools to record and report on vessel maintenance and various safety aspects.
“Webigence have been a solidly reliable web development agency we have been working with since 2013. They are efficient and skilled in their ASP.NET knowledge having programmed a number of functional elements and a native app for our luxury yachting websites/platforms.”
